San Antonio Fox High School is an online high school based in central San Antonio, Texas, and is classified as a given school by the UIL for the state of Texas. This school is among twelve in the selective San Antonio Independent Schools District. In 2021, the school received its accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also accredited by the Council on Quality Education and has a teaching accreditation from the Texas Department of Licensing and Education. The school offers online learning programs in computer science, math, business, and engineering as well as traditional associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in these disciplines.

According to the school’s website, the mission of San Antonio Fox Tech lies in providing an academically-sound, dynamic, nurturing, and challenging program that will prepare students for careers in information technology, health care, education, computer science, engineering, and health care. They provide students with a hands-on experience through internships and externships in various colleges and universities in Texas. In addition, students can earn the Associate of Science Degree with a focus in Computer Information Systems, which will prepare students for careers in network and systems administration as well as certification testing.

The school has locations in six cities across Texas: Bexar, Cedar Park, Comfort, Frisco, McKinney, and San Antonio. Classes are taught by instructors like Kip Johnson, who also serves as the school’s psychology department chair and chief academic officer; Robert Wareing, who serve as the school’s principal; and Lisa Parks, who serve as the school’s physical education director. The school has four professional sport programs: the National Association of Schools of Sport and Exercise; the Mid States Recreation and Fitness Association; the Texas High School Athletic Association and the Texas State High School Athletic Association. The campus is about two miles from San Antonio’s downtown area, so students can easily transfer to classes when they find it convenient. The school offers a variety of on-campus and off-campus housing options, including dormitories, off campus apartments, private housing, and town homes. The campus is home to about 2,000 students, making it one of the biggest employers in the city. Some of the major areas of San Antonio in which the campus is located include: Southlake Carroll Defined Site, Acorn Park, Bee Cave Park, Cameron Park, Legacy Park, Wilson Road, and McAllister Park.

The undergraduate students at San Antonio Fox Tech attend classes in nine colleges and universities: The College of Sacred Arts, Anderson University, Brazos University, Canyon College, Ennis College, Incarnate University, Keller University, Laredo College, Southern Adventist University, and Winthrop University. The students must attend classes in order to graduate, and must be on campus for at least five years. The average class size at San Antonio Fox Tech is four. The average student body at the college is made up of upperclassmen students who are majoring in mathematics, English, history, art, music, psychology, computer science, and psychology. All of the students take general education courses as well.

The students take classes such as Communications, Criminal Justice, Business, Economics, Engineering, Graphic Design, Health Sciences, Math, Photography, Social Sciences, and Teaching. The Information Technology department offers computer sciences, information technology, engineering, computer applications, multimedia arts, and security. In the spring semester, students will have the opportunity to attend the Fort Worth State University Outdoor Center, which holds a world-class concert every Friday night. Students can also take classes such as Business, Criminal Justice, Engineering, Information Technology, History, Health Sciences, Marketing, and Social Sciences. Some of the classes may require you to live on campus. Students have four years of college to complete in order to graduate.
